Nerf War: Camden Goes Bananas
My Baby Went Bananas!
Emmett—who had been sleeping through the night—didn't sleep well Friday or Saturday nights. And last night he flat-out lost it!
Friday night we had a sitter. It was his regular nanny and they stayed here, so having her do his bedtime routine shouldn't have gotten him out of whack, but he got up a couple times Friday night. On Saturday Rory and I watched Emmett's best friend Mia and her cousin Reed while their parents were at a wedding. Since we were all in a hotel room, I wasn't surprised that Emmett was fussy all night Saturday and was up extra-early Sunday morning.
But by Sunday night, he should have been exhausted. Which I think he was, when he screamed like a banshee for about an hour when we tried to put him to bed. At one point he bit down one Rory's finger and kept chewing (but not sucking) so we decided he must be teething. (He was also feverish Saturday night and extra-drooly Sunday.) We gave him some baby acetaminophen and he passed out—either from the meds or sheer exhaustion—15 minutes later.
But he was up for the day at 5:50 this morning!
How much longer will I be dealing with crazy, sleepless nights?
I thought we were done for good!
